Can I Clean That? Conservation Basics for Collections Managers

2018 Colorado-Wyoming Association of Museums Conference in Cheyenne, WY.

This powerpoint presentation discussed the differences between conservation and collections management, and what conservations practices collections managers can incorporate into collections care. Presentation session included an informational packet and a take-home bag of sample archival materials. Presentation emphasized cost-saving methods when appropriate.

This poster highlighted the process of collaboration in the exhibit Contemporary Canvases and the positive impacts community involvement had on label texts. At this conference, I was awarded a stipend for my poster.

FLIP THIS LAB: A Case Study of the Wisconsin Archaeology Lab

2014 Annual Wisconsin Federation Of Museums Conference in Baraboo, WI

This poster highlighted an Archaeological Lab renovation I helped with as Curatorial Assistant in the Anthropology Department at the University of Wisconsin. The poster explored the Federal and State laws that the lab was previously violating and how they were addressed in the renovation.

Exploring Thai Culture Through Costume: Researching Sang Thong Through Material Culture Analysis

16th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium at the University of Wisconsin

For this presentation, I researched the Department of Anthropology's Thai Costume Collection. Prior to this presentation, little was known about the collection. Now, the collection has been identified as the theatre representation of Sang Thong.
