I believe there is always more to learn in Museum Studies and Anthropology. A great way to learn new skills and keep up with professional advancements is by attending conferences.
I find community interaction with collections, and within museums, to be of the most rewarding aspects of a museum job. I enjoy volunteering for public programs, as well as, exploring new ways museums can connect communities to collections.
