Object Imaging

During the Navajo Rehousing Project, we integrated an object imaging phase. While the textile was laying out, we snapped a photo, and later, created a photo tag and uploaded it to our images drive and RE:discovery with the appropriate metadata.

Digitization

As part of my position at UCMNH, I digitize museum objects as requested. This involves pulling objects from storage into our Digilab, adjusting lighting, placing camera settings according to our protocol, capturing the image, creating multiple formats of the image per protocol, and attaching images to records in RE:discovery with the appropriate metadata.
