Navajo Textile Rehousing Project

Over the past year, I assisted in the rehousing of over 900 Navajo textiles collected by Joe Ben Wheat. During this project, I led a team of employees and volunteers, managed the use of archival materials, mounted folded textiles onto textile tubes, and relocated and updated location in RE:discovery.

Tillmont Archaeology Rehousing Project

During this project, I was responsible for repackaging artifacts into appropriate storage materials, completing an inventory of collections, database entry, and OCR of documents.

South Dakota Rehousing Project

The first rehousing project I was involved in, comprised of 150 boxes of archaeological artifacts from various sites in South Dakota. During this project, I was responsible for rehousing artifacts into archival materials, organizing artifacts by provenance, collections imaging, database entry and management.

Brillion Historical Society Rehousing Project

As a volunteer, I spent a weekend helping the Brillion Historical Society rehouse a large portion of their collections. During this project, I was responsible for rehousing objects into archival material, assigning accession numbers, collections imaging, and deaccessioning per the museum's mission.
